The Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma in Social Work (Advanced Practice) enable field practitioners in a variety of human service agencies to enhance their knowledge and practice at an advanced level. The courses are intended to provide social work practitioners with an innovative model for reflective practice and to increase competence in a range of social work fields and methods. The importance of locating social work practice in the political and organizational context is emphasised.
Students undertake two x 25% units, to complete the Graduate Certificate and four x 25% units to complete the Graduate Diploma.

This Masters program integrates social work theory and practice into a course that will enhance the knowledge and practice of social workers across all levels.
This course is available for students contininuing thorugh from their undergraduate degree in Social Work (or eqivalent), experienced social workers, or practitioners wishing to upgrade their skills and knowledge.
The structure of the course is four core units plus a minor thesis, which can be completed either part-time or full-time.
